During the holy month of Ramadan, individuals with disabilities and their families often find themselves isolated from the community. Mosques can be overwhelming and may lack the necessary accessibility and accommodations for families.

That’s why MUHSEN, in collaboration with local organizations across Calgary, Edmonton, Windsor, and Vancouver, has launched Ramadan Ready! This initiative provides an engaging opportunity for individuals to connect with their local mosque through sensory-friendly activities, creativity, crafts, and art. 

Our program is designed with care, incorporating one-on-one respite to ensure a supportive and enriching experience for all participants. This event allows families to partake in Ramadan festivities in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

The Ramadan Ready! event was a wholesome and beautiful experience, and we are excited to continue this annual tradition, fostering connection, community, and joy during this special month!
