Connecting Communities: MUHSEN Canada Coast to Coast

This spring, MUHSEN Canada has been on the ground across the country, connecting with families, building partnerships, and bringing our mission of inclusion to life in new communities.

Vancouver, British Columbia

We were thrilled to host our first ever Eid celebration on the West Coast, bringing together families of individuals with disabilities in a joyful and welcoming environment. The turnout and warmth of the Vancouver community reaffirmed what we know to be true, that every family deserves a space where they feel seen, supported, and celebrated.

Halifax, Nova Scotia

Building on that momentum, we travelled east to Halifax where we hosted our inaugural Community Connect event. Community Connect brings together individuals with disabilities, their families, and local service providers to network, share resources, and build the kinds of connections that create lasting change.

We were proud to welcome Service Canada, Special Olympics Halifax, The Prescott Group in partnership with the Government of Nova Scotia Disability Support Program, and TEAM Work Cooperative Ltd.

Being on the ground, listening to the stories, struggles, dreams, and aspirations of individuals with disabilities and their families, continues to deepen our commitment to this community. There is extraordinary resilience, love, and wisdom here, and MUHSEN Canada is honoured to walk alongside them.
