MUHSEN Canada partnered with Muslim Food Bank and Community Services for an afternoon of giving back. Our community members with disabilities packed food kits, cleaned, and organized the food bank, serving families across Calgary while practicing real life skills.
For us this day was about belonging. People with disabilities are too often seen only as receiving support. Here they were the ones providing it, and it showed.
